| Full Coverage: No sanding, chipping, crackling of paint. All top and side
surfaces covered in paint. Clean, Pristine finish. But still making the
look of it with years of paint and loving wear. |
Lightly Distressed: After filling most holes, the paint get put
on with Full Coverage and then gets sanded down enough to show areas of wood or
old paint that would normally wear down with daily use. May show some old nail
holes or crackles, uneven paint and undertones of other color peeking through.
Very Shabby Country Chic The color blocks above
are good examples of Lightly Distressed. |
Heavily Distressed: Piece is cleaned and sanded. Nail holes,
cracks in paint, lifting paint etc is left at it's own worn state. New paint is
sparingly applied and sanded again. Very uneven, chippy and woodsy.
